The more you think about something, the more it becomes part of your reality.
Changing your mindset to change your reality takes time, focus and tremendous practice. But it is possible. And it all starts with how you see yourself, your life, and your goals; how grateful and self-aware you are, and how prepared you are to continue going in the direction of your dreams despite failures and obstacles along the way.
Here are some questions to ask yourself:
Do you react or respond to situations that are out of your control?
Are you open to new experiences and learning or do you believe that you know everything, thus limiting your growth?
Do you embrace or fear change?
How welcoming are you to new possibilities and do you ever think of creating opportunities when there are none?
Do you have a clear vision of your future or do you easily return to your past?
The truth is that once you master your mind, you start to see things from a whole new perspective attracting the good into your life. When you focus on work that matters, your productivity increases. When you exercise and eat healthy, your health improves. And when you start choosing who you spend your time with, your relationships improve.
Focus on finding clarity in your life
When you are confused, disorganized and constricted in your thinking, you only focus on what is not working. This makes you think that there are no options and that you have to settle for the situation you are in.
But you can actually change this by focusing your mental energy on the positive. Find clarity by breaking it down into simple steps that will lead you to a solution. Pause. Take a moment to think and reflect. Trust your instinct and creativity and always know that you have a choice.
It’s time to start focusing on being in charge of your life. You are not a victim and a product of your circumstances. Your life is in your own hands and you decide which way you’ll go. Staying focused cures your overwhelming need to keep procrastinating and delaying your life.
Focus on your mental and emotional energy
When you feel emotionally drained and frustrated, your judgment overpowers your mind and does not allow you to think clearly. This leads to anger and impatience that can influence every aspect of your life leaving you powerless and defeated. When you focus on the positive and look at the whole picture, you become more engaged and optimistic which helps you move forward.
When you are absent-minded and tense, it is simply impossible to be present in the moment and have gratitude for all the good in your life. Turn things around by becoming aware of your thoughts and making a conscious effort to think differently and focus on abundance instead of scarcity.
When you focus on YOU, your life, and your goals, you actually move away from all the unhealthy and unnecessary situations around you. This empowers you to move forward and start accomplishing more than you ever thought possible. You start living the life you deserve.
Focus on becoming your best self
When you know yourself well, you love yourself more. And loving yourself means taking the time out of your busy day to do the things that you love that boost your creativity and confidence.
And when you are focused on becoming the best version of yourself everything else follows.
Take 15 to 20 minutes a day to organize your thoughts, plan your day ahead and enjoy a moment in silence before the world wakes up. To find more time for yourself during the day, commit to waking up early in the morning to reconnect with yourself and do what you need to grow your mind and nourish your body. There are numerous studies that show that early risers have their lives under control because they plan ahead and look forward to the next day to execute their plans and achieve their goals.
Always remember that your current situation is not your permanent destination, and that you have the power to change it. Wherever you are right now in life and however you feel, know that you can change it. Change is inevitable, embrace it and become part of it. Focus on what you have to gain not what you have to give up. Focus on what you want and what makes you happy. It doesn’t matter what everyone else is doing, it only matters what you are doing. Don’t let anyone or anything distract you. Believe in yourself, stay determined, take action and focus on what YOU want.
